History of Premier Casino Events
After planning parties and events at the corporate level for nine
years, Premier Casino Events CEO, Tom Waller, founded the company on our lucky day, July 7, 1977.
Having been a corporate event planner for so many years, he understood
the challenges faced by businesses wanting make an impact with customers
and employees. His methods proved to be right on target as his company
immediately enjoyed success doing corporate parties, special events,
and weddings.
As demand for Tom's services grew, so did the company's services,
adding not only a mobile lighted dance floor, but unique lighting
and special effects, smoke machines, mirrored balls, even a complete
stage show.
Soon, Tom had to hire staff to keep up with the growing list of
clients who felt their party just wouldn't be as successful, unless
Tom was there getting guests to "boogie" on the dance
floor--this was the 70's after all--and getting everyone to do the
hustle and dance, dance, dance was the mark of a successful event.
One of the first people to be hired was his future wife, Nancy
Waller, who quickly established herself as one of premier party
planners in the city. Soon, after doing some parties for General
Motors, the Wallers expanded again, they became "Serious About
Fun", a group that would attend to all the details needed for
a successful event, so that the host could sit back and actually
enjoy their guests and their compliments.
Soon, corporate event planners were reporting record turnouts to
the Wallers and happily relating guest feedback like "that
was the greatest party in our history." Clients got hooked
on success and started asking for more unique decorations, and especially
for new ideas that were "fun and different" for their
next successful party.
The Wallers continued to demonstrate that they seemed to have a
special gift for getting people to stop dead in their tracks as
they entered a room exclaiming "Wow! This is going to be fun!"
Then mingle, mix, laugh and play together; resulting in lots of
fond memories and anticipation of events to come.
The turning point came in 1980 when General Motors asked the unique
company to astonish a group of hard–to-entertain guests. The
Wallers created a one-of-a-kind experience that guests still talk
about today--25 years later!
Planning and executing "talk of the town" corporate events
became the trademark for the company. Everyone from small businesses
to Fortune 500 companies were seeking out the Wallers to create
the perfect party.
In 1987, The Wallers were honored when Special Events Magazine
recognized them for producing one of the top 20 events in
the world.
Then the Wallers began to see a change in the type of parties that
people wanted. People were no longer satisfied with ordinary "cocktail
chatter", music, dancing, and a dance floor. They wanted new
experiences, new games, and even new entertainment.
With a growing staff of creative set designers, artists, carpenters,
florists, lighting and sound technicians, the company began to offer
state of the art "Theme Parties". After doing 135 different
themes ranging from Interactive Murder Mysteries to Casino Nights,
it became apparent that the ten variations of "Monte Carlo
Nights" they had created were runaway best sellers. They blew
away the other 125 themes away in the two most critical measures;
1) Attendance and 2) Guest Retention and Participation.
And so in 1989, they decided to specialize in creating the perfect
casino parties.
Armed with a fleet of trucks, 5,000 square feet of warehouse space,
top quality luxurious casino games made by the same companies who
supply Las Vegas, and an imaginative and hard-working staff, Premier
Casino Events became the top Casino party planning and event company
in the Northeast--entertaining more than a million guests in just
15 years.
The Wallers have devoted more than 27 years of their life to producing
“the best casino party in town”. They are proud of their

claims.
